What to Wear?

Some of our clients ask us what to wear for their shoot. Fair questions, and not easily answered but here are some ideas on how to coordinate a family without having 5 people with Jeans and White Shirt in the picture 🙂

What to Wear – Family Portrait Photography
We like to tell our clients to wear COLOR and to coordinate without being
carbon copies of each other. A good tip is to pick three to four colors and
have everyone wear different combinations of those colors. Sometimes it is
easier to pick one outfit and then work from there.

Family Blessing Banquet

We give them food, we give them toys at times and we give them our attention. We love to provide for our kids and make sure that they are save and secure.

Having children is a wonderful privilege. Are there challenges? – of course. Are there days when we wish to have more time to ourselves? – often.

So what is missing?

The Family Blessing Banquet was put together by our local church Adventurer Club.

We wanted to have a time dedicated to letting our kids know how special they are to us.

Every family at the banquet took turns in describing what made their kids special to them and why they love them. It was amazing to hear what others say about their kids and why they love them so much.

So here is your task for today and everyday.

Take your child aside, make them feel special and tell them that you love them – it is the simplest and best gift you can give them.

Vohwinkel Photography took some pictures to remind the parents of this special day. Here are ours:

time lapse – a lot of pictures strung together.

Bring a camera, a tri pod, and of course time, and you can make the otherwise “boring” sky look interesting after all.

Here is a quick time lapse sequence.  These pictures were taken 30 seconds apart – over a 2.5 hour period.  You can see the sun showly moving across the sky.
